Very fast service and the drinks and food came to the table super quickly. All 5 dishes that we ordered as a group were very tasty. Any time. Price performance is super good. You feel like you are in a classy beer tent. Hearty and rustic. Very nicely done.

I've been eating there for years and the price-performance ratio has always been good. However, it has been noticed for some time that if we eat out with several people, the food does not get together. Regardless of what we order, I get the first thing and am either almost or completely finished with food until my partner gets her plate. Of maybe 100x we received it 1x at the same time and 1x in front of me, otherwise it was always as described above. The waitresses refer to the kitchen and that they couldn't help but pass it on. Either that is not done or the management is simply not interested. Only once did we have an espresso on the house, but that's about it. The food itself is okay, but the new salad dressing has been a real step backwards for almost a year. As full as the Mönchswasen is every day, nothing will change here because the shop is running. It's a shame, really like to go!

Very nice ambience ... great restaurant, fast and very friendly staff. Unique Kässpatzen and very good salad dressing. Sufficient parking spaces available. The sour shandy from the house brewery was a unique thirst quencher ... We'd love to come back.

Once again we had a very delicious evening. One can only praise everything. From the quality of the food to the waitresses who all have a smile on their faces to the fast serving of the dishes. I myself had a grill plate. Also very recommendable, the onion roast. Just nice that you exist. Until next time.

I give 2 stars because the food is unfortunately not made fresh (mass production). Our cheese places were out of the box and unfortunately a bit dry. I expect fresh spaetzle from a German restaurant. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Prices are great and the dessert (vanilla ice cream with raspberries) was also great.

Spacious rooms inside and outside terrace, delicious beer ? and a nice selection of Swabian specialties at an absolutely fair price. Despite an 80km bike tour with around 1,000 altitude meters, I was busy getting rid of the lentils & spaetzle. Delicious ???

Chic brewery. The beer garden in particular is very nice in summer. Since it is not in the city, you have a very nice view, especially outside. Portions are very large for a decent price. The menu isn't huge, but the dishes are all very tasty. Solid German brewery cuisine.

Lots of seats outside, only inside can be reserved. Very busy on sunny evenings, parking spaces can sometimes be scarce. The waitresses are very friendly, the in-house beer (my favorite the natural cloud) is delicious. Food in terms of price-performance ratio was also great. Attention: You can only pay in cash!

Brilliant!! Highly recommended. Local food choice is excellent, Schwabian dishes are the speciality as well as German favourites. Beer brewery too, which was also great to sample. Staff were friendly and served quickly. Also spoke English to help when our German ran out!!

Anyone who likes a beer tent atmosphere is in the right place here. Quite a lot of space. In summer you can also enjoy the food outside. The food is down to earth. The service is friendly. The food is served almost too quickly for my standards. Reservation is recommended. There are enough parking spaces directly at the house. The beer from the in-house brewery is delicious. Which is good, you can have the beer bottled in large bottles and continue enjoying it at home. Which is a shame you can only pay in cash.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! Excellent place to enjoy traditional Swebian food and craft beer, the menu is amazing and everything was absolutely delicious, huge restaurant tastefully decorated with old farming equipment to the most traditional German style... not precisely a tourist place, but definetly worth a drive to eat there... the staff absolutetly nice and helpful, the plates are affordable and big portions, delicious food served super fast right from the kitchen... super nice and clean place... if youre fairly close and want to enjoy delicious traditional german food, do yourself a favor and book a table (its packed everyday) to eat there...

Mönchswasen is a great restaurant. The service was super fast, the dishes delicious, typical schwäbische (swabian) and the price was appropriate. The desserts were over the top. We really loved it.

Good location halfway between Weil der Stadt and Calw. Great service despite the place absolutely packed.

Seriously, the most consistently good food in the area, always friendly service, wonderful soups! I've never had a bad meal here!
